RAGT is proud to announce acquisition of BASF’s open-pollinated wheat seed assets in Australia including welcoming to the RAGT team the program architect and senior plant breeder, Maqbool Ahmad.
This exciting new acquisition fits perfectly into our multi species strategy and reinforces our commitment in bringing innovative solutions to Australian farmers and our Partners.
Expanding on our local knowledge, global reach strategy, this mature breeding program has already delivered commercial products and gives RAGT a pipeline flow that is rich with genetics well matched to the Australian market.
It affords an opportunity to launch into the spring white wheat segment, adding to our existing activities in the market.
