New high-performing northern zone spring wheat
RGT Healy
RGT Healy
RGT Healy is a new spring wheat offering class-leading yields in the northern zone for main season wheats. This variety delivers very high yields, particularly in favourable seasons. In 2022, it was one of the highest-yielding varieties in the NVTs, with averages exceeding 5T/ha across MET data.
RGT Healy has a unique genetic background, making it ideal for growers currently cultivating Lancer, Sunmaster, and Leverage, who are seeking a higher top-end result.
The variety boasts a superior disease resistance profile, including very good resistance to stripe rust. With short to moderate height and stiff straw, harvest quality is excellent, producing large, bold grain with a high thousand-grain weight.
