RGT Dardevyl
BETTER THE DARDEVYL YOU KNOW –
THE NEXT BIG STEP FROM EMMERSON
Introducing RGT Dardevyl from RAGT. RGT Dardevyl is the next chapter of development in tetraploid Italian ryegrass. It’s a perfect partner with legumes and excellent for early season silage production. Vigorously tested over several seasons, RGT Dardevyl has shown to be higher yielding than Emmerson. With improved brown rust tolerance, improved persistence and improved total yield across all 3 seasons. RGT Dardevyl’s yield performance proves to be hotter than hell.
Suited to all livestock types
Features
- High quality
- High yield
- Improved compatibility with legumes
- Large seed with fast establishing vigor
- Improved disease profile
- Increased digestibility
- Increased palatability
Benefits
- Tetraploid ryegrasses typically exhibit a taller growth habit, with broader, darker, and glossier leaves than their diploid counterparts.
- Tetraploids have a larger seed size and the plant structure tends to be a more open growth habit lending to better compatibility with clover and other companion species in a blend.
- Tetraploids generally have higher palatability and can be broken down more efficiently in the rumen, which can lead to greater intake and better rumen function which can lead to increased production.
